This movie was a suggestion on Netflix for PS3, probably because we’ve been watching movies like Tetsuo: The Iron Man (oh my God) and The Machine Girl (easily almost as outrageous as Riki-Oh – The Story of Ricky). I almost didn’t watch this, but I’m so glad I did. This girl is such a badass.

The Sesame Street Yip Yip Martians were featured today on Once Upon A Win. I know I’ve posted this video before (on Vox, I think), but I guess I failed to port it over here. This has always been my favorite clip of the Yip Yips.

I don’t use Facebook for anything other than silly stuff, like the LivingSocial application. I thought I’d repost some of them here.
One of my favorite horror movies from the ’80s was Bad Dreams. It’s about a little girl who survived the mass suicide of the cult (Unity Field) her parents were involved in. She wakes from a coma several years later and finds herself in an institution. That’s when the fun begins! Some of the songs from the soundtrack came up on my playlist today, so I thought I’d share them here. I’m not sure if I have the same verson of Verdi‘s La donna è mobile (from Rigoletto) as the one that was used in the movie. I have several versions of it, so I just picked the one that sounded the best. 
Also, the movie version of My Way was not by the Sex Pistols, but it’s close!
I’d forgotten how un-PC this series was, but it’s still pretty funny… and the kiddo loves it.
I’ve learned not to expect too much from movie remakes. I was especially wary of this one because I love Death Race 2000
I’m not a huge fan of Valentine’s Day… probably because I’m the least romantic person I know. I have a hard time giving or receiving a gift that isn’t practical or useful. This was a good gift.
