I guess I’ve always been a sci-fi fan. My mom says Star Trek was my favorite show when I was four or five. I saw all three Star Wars movies in the theater when they came out. Damn I feel old! Here’s me at age 6 1/2 with my ‘DARTH VADAR [sic] LIVES’ T-Shirt. “VADAR?” I wonder if my shirt was counterfeit….
My Middle Name

My middle name is Noelle, which is fitting because I was born on Christmas Eve. I’m glad my parents used the feminine spelling instead of “Noel.” My Aunt Patricia calls me “Heather Noll” anyway. My Aunt Josie calls me Heather Noella Cruella DeVil. I love that – it just rolls off the tongue so nicely.
